The new 2009 version of Lilliput's EBY701-NP/C/T monitor is 50% brighter then the the 2008 model. The LED backlight design offers a brighter crisper picture with no warm up time, better performance in cold weather with a longer life and lower power consumption then the older CCFL backlight model. The upgraded 4 wire restive touch screen now has an improved anti glare coating applied to it and works with the included stylus or your fingers. Our exclusive custom cut screen protector will keep the surface of your screen protected while further reducing sun glare at the same time. The updated firmware now allows the EBY-701 to be set for automatically turn on when power is applied to the monitor. Our simple 5 step instructions to do that can be found here.

The auto switch feature allows for seamless integration with use of a rear view camera. Just hook up the green wire on the monitor to the reverse brake light bulb and plug your camera into Aux input #2. When you put the vehicle in reverse the monitor will automatically switch to your camera view. When you shift to drive the monitor will again change back to the main input image.

As an additional service every monitor we sell is pre tested to make sure it is from manufacturers defects and dead pixels.

Plays absolute havoc with UHF radio. Unable to have both on at same time. Tin cover on rear of LCD not grounded. Occasionally rear cam will show up as black / white and static when using AV2 auto switching wire, when cam is colour. AND, over the past few weeks, it has been high 40 deg c, causing rear hot glue to melt, and rear plastic sub frame to melt.
